EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Marce King, a lifelong resident of Owen County became the Executive Director in February of 2019. Marce had previously been the Executive Director of a local non-for-profit for eleven years. She is also the Owen County Bicentennial president as well as a free-lance photographer, artist, and graphic designer. She has two children. Her daughter is currently working towards her Master’s degree and her son is an EMT for Lifeline. Owen County holds a special place in Marce’s heart and she is thankful for the privilege to serve her Indiana Home!

About the Event
This experience of the arts will feature local artisans, promote local business, and highlight the beautiful historic Downtown Spencer. Three Whippoorwill festivals will be held this summer. Each unique artisan event will take place on the last Friday of June, July, and August on Market Street from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Live music, food vendors and over 20 local and regional artisans will be highlighted each evening. Attendees will find woodworking, glass blowing, photography, visual arts, handcrafted soaps and more! This is a great opportunity to find unique one of a kind gifts and connect with crafters and artists. Not only will attendees be able to enjoy the Whippoorwill Artisan Festival, but also everything else the Historic Downtown has to offer with its many shops, and restaurants! Enjoy a family fun filled night! Admission and Parking are FREE!
