What You Can Do

Persons of all ages can catch Covid-19. Some people can be infected with the virus and show no signs and symptoms. It is paramount that all people follow the government’s instructions and prevent direct social gatherings.

Please read and follow these directions to keep everyone safe.

  1. Stay home and quarantine yourself.

  2. You may be a carrier and not realize it.

  3. Ensure you have adequate food for a couple of weeks.

  4. Play video games, spring clean, play a board game with your children.

  5. If you are older or have underlying health issues, stay home and away from other people.

  6. If someone in your household has tested positive, keep the entire household home.

  7. Work or study from home whenever possible.

  8. Avoid social gatherings altogether.

  9. Talk on the phone.

  10. Check on each other by email, texting, Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, Messenger, etc.

  11. DO NOT visit nursing homes, but also don’t forget those who are there. If you have a family member in an extended care facility, call them occasionally.

  13. Wash your hands often. Washing hands for at least 20 seconds is an excellent way to kill and control the spread of the virus.

  14. Avoid touching your face.

  15. Cover your cough or sneeze. Coughs and sneezes aerosolize the virus and disperse it through the air, spreading the virus from person to person.

  16. Clean and disinfect surfaces.

  17. Avoid putting others at risk if you think you may have contracted Covid-19. Call your primary care physician or the hospital and follow their instructions. If your physician wants you to go to the hospital and you can safely take yourself do so. Do not expose others if possible.

  18. Stay at home.
