They also won for their $250,000 Bridge Grant program which awarded grants to 57 local businesses during the pandemic. They received a Broadband award for their efforts in helping to bring 3.5 million dollars of fiber infrastructure into Owen County as well as assisting in the process for Broadband Ready Community designation. The Public Restroom facility project, where Owen County raised 25,000 in just 20 days, was also recognized for an award and finally, the Chamber's COVID procedures that followed CDC guidelines allowing the organization to hold all of their 2020 in-person events was also awarded. None of these projects would have happened had it not been for the people of Owen County working together to help one another. These awards belong to all everyone!
